EBBTIDE Candleholder
This candleholder is part of the EBBTIDE Collection, created as a reflection of growth and change. Thrown and carved by hand, each piece carries subtle variation shaped by pressure, time, and fire. Designed to hold light and meaning, it is made to be lived with.
The Meaning
The EBBTIDE Collection is inspired by the rhythm of tides and unseen currents. These pieces reflect the way larger forces shape us over time through motion rather than resistance.
We hope this piece reminds you to trust the rhythm and allow yourself to be shaped by the tide.
The Making
Each candleholder begins as raw clay, thrown on the wheel and shaped slowly by hand. Once formed, openings are carved individually to allow light to pass through the vessel. The piece is then dried, bisque-fired, glazed, and fired again. Glazes are mixed in our studio and selected for how they interact with form, texture, and heat, allowing variation to emerge naturally during firing.
